Homeschool Class

Description :

MSG is excited to offer a new revamped home school program for 2021-2022 school year, with monthly education based programs at Mount Ski Gull. Information and registration is below!

• 1.5hr class, 1x/month (day of week may vary)
• $15/student, after each class student will walk about with some sort of MSG Voucher related to what they learned (for example after the physics of snow tubing, they will get a tubing ticket to take home)
• Geared toward 8th-12th Graders, adults are welcome to join for free as long as they come with a paid student
• Limited to 20 students per class

Class Offerings and Schedule (subject to change/update):
-December: How is Snow made? (January & December classes will be switch if not making snow on 12/16)

• Thursday December 16th 1PM-2:30PM
• First will be a short classroom session on how snow is made, then go out on the hill with our snowmakers and learn how we make snow at Mount Ski Gull.

-January: Rental 101 (January & December classes will be switch if not making snow on 12/16)

• Thursday January 20th 1PM-2:30PM
• Ever wondered how skis and snowboards are fitted and tested? This class will teach you how that is determined, have hands on practice and at the end you will have the opportunity to take the Rossignol Certification test!

-February: The Physics of Snow Tubing

• Thursday February 17th 1PM-2:30PM

-March: Maple Syruping or a different Spring Themed Education based class
